Quote Of The Day
Collaboration is key – Tom Finneran, President MBC Competition has been at the heart of business activities over the past few decades. Increasingly, attention has been focused on"collaboration". Governments can collaborate with private industry, different political parties can collaborate on critical issues for the betterment of society, not-for-profits can collaborate with for-profits, and suppliers can collaborate with customers. In business, collaboration has been successful in establishing product standardization across the industry. For instance, agreement on internet protocol standards have created a win for the end-user. Today, there is need for such collaboration across many other boundaries. In life sciences, for example, schools can provide multi-disciplinary education in biology, chemistry and computers that would benefit business employers.
